Wynns PN 10601 is a fuel biocide that is designed to kill and prevent the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi in diesel fuel. It is a clear, colorless liquid that is soluble in hydrocarbons and residual water. It does not affect the fuel quality, is completely combustible, and neutralizes acids that could be produced by the micro-organisms. It also prevents filter plugging by organisms.
Wynns PN 10601 is a curative as well as preventive treatment against the formation of micro-organisms in (bio) diesel fuel. It is recommended for use in all diesel engines, including those that use biodiesel up to B20. It can also be used in small fuel tanks (25 – 500 litres) of trucks, boats, vehicles, and stationary engines.
To use Wynns PN 10601, simply add the product just prior to refuelling. The dosage rate is 250 ml per 500 litres of fuel. For best results, it is recommended to use Wynns PN 10601 every 6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.
