Product Description
Wellseal WELL1 is a jointing compound that is used to seal flanged or screw threaded joints. It is a lead-free compound that is easy to release and has a smooth consistency. It is resistant to commonly used fuels, lubricants, and coolants, and eliminates the need for paper washers and/or gaskets. It will withstand temperatures up to 195C (383F) and will not harden under any conditions.
Wellseal WELL1 is a versatile compound that can be used on a variety of pipework, including water (including potable water), brine, steam, gas (including liquefied and natural gas), fuel oil, diesel oil, petrol, or compressed air.
To use Wellseal WELL1, first clean the joint surfaces to be sealed. Then, apply a thin layer of compound to one of the surfaces. Assemble the joint and apply pressure to ensure that the compound is evenly distributed. Wipe away any excess compound with a clean cloth.
